SideHustle Mowing is not an official ambassador or paid partner of DECKED. While we were in active discussions about a formal ambassadorship at one point, that relationship ultimately never moved forward. That said, our experience with the product itself stands entirely on its own and we still use it every single day.
Our Experience with DECKED
DECKED is hands-down one of the best additions we’ve ever made to our truck. From organization to daily usability, it completely changed how we work out of the vehicle. The system is American-made, built extremely tough, and clearly designed by people who actually use trucks for real work.
When we first reached out to DECKED, we weren’t a large YouTube channel, and we weren’t operating as influencers in the traditional sense. We simply wanted to document real-world use of equipment we believed in. To their credit, DECKED immediately saw the value in that and sent us the system with minimal requirements. No scripts, no nonsense, just honest videos showing how we use it.
That approach alone spoke volumes.
Why We Still Stand Behind DECKED
Even though an official ambassadorship never materialized, our opinion of the product has never changed. The DECKED Drawer System has proven itself over and over again.

Most of our drawers are stocked with tools and battery powered equipment, including our Greenworks gear, and everything has a place. No digging, no wasted time, no frustration. Open the tailgate and everything is right there.
We are asked about this system constantly. Job sites, parking lots, even grocery runs. Yes, groceries fit perfectly too. The drawers are that versatile.
Every time we open the bed and see the system in place, it is still one of those moments where you think, this was a really good decision.
About the Ambassadorship That Didn’t Happen
Early on, things were genuinely moving in a great direction. The original social media contact at DECKED was enthusiastic, engaged, and clearly understood what we were trying to build. She was excited about the content, eager to move forward, and proactive about getting an ambassadorship in place.
After she moved on, a new social media contact stepped in. At first, he seemed friendly and overwhelmed, which we completely understood. We were patient. Unfortunately, that patience turned into a pattern of long delays, repeated promises, missed follow-through, and eventually no replies at all. On the rare occasions we did hear back, it was more promises without action.
At that point, we made the decision to stop reaching out. We do not chase people, and we do not send endless emails when communication clearly is not a priority on the other side. This is a passion project for us and something we genuinely enjoy doing. We value professionalism, clarity, and mutual respect.
To be very clear, the breakdown had nothing to do with our interest, effort, or follow-through. It was purely a communication and execution issue on their end.
That said, we still hold no ill will. We would absolutely be open to working with DECKED in the future if the right opportunity presents itself and the communication aligns.
Final Word
The DECKED Drawer System is exceptional. Ten out of ten.
We continue to recommend it because we use it, rely on it, and trust it. It has made our truck more efficient, more organized, and more enjoyable to work out of every single day. Regardless of how things unfolded on the business side, the product itself earned our respect where it matters most, in real world use.
